it is now time to visit your GP and ensure you have the appropriate vaccination cover for our trip to eygpt. This normally means picking up a Holiday Vaccination form from your GPs surgey completing it and returning it to the surgery. You will then be asked to contact the surgery a few days latter and make an apppointment if you require vaccination.
Hello world!
Memo: Current Status of the Underwater Activities Section
Section Night: As a result of a vacant slot at Inverkeithing High School pool becoming available the section will recommence on Thursday 3rd February 2011. We will have the pool between 2000-2100hrs. Scouts, Explorers should aim to be there fro 1945hrs to be ready to go into the pool at 2000hrs.
We would encourage all existing members to come along on Thursday nights during term time (existing passes are still valid, new passes can be purchased on the night) and intend to recommence snorkel courses in March once we are up and running.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those involved in making this a very successful section to date and can only apologise for the delay in securing a suitable time and place to re-launch the section. I will be in touch in the near future re snorkel course but if any of your section members have previously handed in forms or you are aware of their interest please forward details and I will start to plan for March onwards.
I hope to keep the costs the same at this point in time therefore section night tickets will remain at £27.50 for 10 sessions plus one free and £50 for 20 sessions plus three free The snorkel course is £25.00.
Egypt 2011
I can confirm that the trip for 2011 is going ahead and we have 13 divers going to Egypt in October 2011 on board the MY Snapdragon.
